Seattle police, businesses brace for possible May Day violence

Seattle police were caught off-guard in 2012, when anarchists smashed store windows, tossed fire bombs and vandalized a U.S. district courthouse. As recently as November, anti-police brutality demonstrators shut down part of Interstate-5. Seattle Mayor Ed Murray is confident that won’t happen again.
