I’d heard that there would be rock bands and people who lived in communes. People who were anarchists, even. I had never knowingly met an anarchist let alone a commune-dweller but they both sounded interesting. I bought a kaftan and caught a train filled with wild-looking people. The men had long hair! Hippy clothes! They smelt odd!
