Metro (UK), “Anarchist group claims it was behind massive flood in Angel”

**05.10.16 1pm (13:00) EMBARGO**Severe flooding caused by a ruptured water main has hit homes and businesses along part of a key route through north London. Dramatic images shared on social media showed torrents of water flowing down Upper Street in Islington after the pipe burst in the early hours of Monday morning. Businesses in the popular shopping and dining district around Camden Passage were under water, and part of the A1 was closed to traffic. The flooding also hit Charlton Place and Colebrooke Row, where Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson owns a property. An anarchist group has claimed responsibility for a massive flood in Islington near where Boris Johnson owns a property.

Class War London said it opened up a water main near estate agents Foxtons causing 100 people to be evacuated from their homes and businesses, shops and restaurants to be flooded, according to 365.
