Westchester Journal News, “NY state GOP says anarchists trashed Big Apple headquarters”

State Republican officials said Friday that their Manhattan party headquarters were vandalized overnight, and blamed the attack on anarchists.

Vandals threw bricks through windows at 122 E. 83rd St., which houses state GOP offices and the Metropolitan Republican Club.

The vandals also poured glue on door locks and a keypad at the entrance, spray-painted the letter “A” inside a circle — a symbol typically used by anarchist groups — and left a note behind, police and party officials said.
